SARAH'S CHOREOGRAPHIC STYLE IN 3 WORDS: MYSTICAL, SELF-INDULGENT, AND PERFORMATIVE-EDGE.

Sarah Lutzky received most of her early dance education from Degas Dance Studio in Los Angeles, CA, where she trained under the artistic direction of Anacia Weiskittel in various styles. During high school, she accompanied her training with pre-professional summer intensives around the country, including Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, Northwest Dance Project, and Alvin Ailey. After high school, she attended New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts receiving her BFA in dance. At NYU, she trained in various ballet styles, postmodern-contemporary techniques, and composition under some of NYC’s best professors, exploring the choreography of her peers and herself. Her senior year, she had the honor of performing influential repertoire by Wayne Mcgregor (set by Davide Di Pretoro) and Sidra Bell and having her choreography featured in multiple performance concerts. Since graduating from NYU in 2020, she has joined Arsenal Movement Dance Project, showcased new work (Spoke the Hub’s 2022 Winter Follies Concert and Estia Day Fest 2022), and co-choreographed and performed with musical artist Socha at Baby’s All Right. Sarah is honored to have been selected to showcase work with Eryc Taylor Dance and looks forward to continuing to grow as an emerging choreographer in NYC.
