ETD Welcomes Savannah Gaillard as new Company Administrator

Savannah is a movement artist and motion graphics designer from northern Virginia. She received her BFA in Dance and minor in Public Health from NYU Tisch School of the Arts. During this time she furthered her dance career in Berlin and Tel Aviv. Savannah creates durational, set improvisation scores mixed with multimedia. Her work has been shown in the Jack Crystal Theater, Lightbox NYC, and the Junction Function NYC. Savannah currently performs works by Rashaun Mitchell + Silas Reiner and Mathew James.

I am a multidisciplinary artist interested in the ways the Black body is represented, constructed, and expressed in physical and digital spaces. After years of training in ballet, modern, and postmodern dance; my heart rests in the wiggles of set improvisational scores and contemporary dance. Blasting into the infinite space of the digital world, mashing the articulations of multiple world views, I invite myself and collaborators to travel into this new journey of multi-dimensional performance art making.
