LED BY EMMA CHART

Originally hailing from a small mountain town in rural British Columbia, Canada, Emma arrived in New York City in 2016. After attending The Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre and NYU Tisch School of the Arts, Emma found a deep passion for teaching through supporting theater and improv workshops with the Stella Adler Arts Justice Outreach program. Her studies have led to her teaching. She has worked with youth through to seniors and believes in the power of intergenerational community building and healing through art-making. With a keen sense for storytelling, Emma combines her passions for social justice, visual arts, painting, drawing, and writing poetry with an embodied practice.
